Upcoming TWIG Walk & Talk Scheduled for Eastport, Maine

This Saturday, October 12th – Eastport Maine
A Native and Invasive Plant Identification Walk is planned for Saturday, October 12. Why are invasive plant species detrimental to the environment? Why are native plants so important to our ecosystems? What can we do to eradicate invasive species from Maine? Learn the key identifying features of both native and invasive species commonly found in Maine and how you can identify them.

This is an outdoor, hands on workshop and a fair amount walking involved. Please dress appropriately. $10 fee.
